Headaches Remedies ??? Some Tips For Headache Remedies You Can Try At Home!

Headaches - I bet you've had them and the fact that you are reading this makes me think you probably have, or know someone that has, a continuing problem with headaches. Most people suffer from headaches at some time, some people much more than others. Headaches can range in severity from mild, to extremely painful migraines. If you suffer from tension headaches you will feel a tightness around your head and a dull ache. You may feel like you have something squeezing your head. Tension headaches are caused by muscle contractions due to stress and may continue for days or even weeks usually until the stress trigger is relieved. If you are suffering from migraine headache you will usually have pain on one side of the head, often a throbbing pain behind the eye or near the temple and can also go through to the back of the head. These headaches may also have other symptoms accompanying them such as nausea, vomiting and sometimes auras. Although there are many medications you can get over the counter for headaches and even prescription medications for severe headaches, many people don't like taking medications on a continuing basis, so why not try some home remedies to ease the pain of your headache. Here are a few headaches remedies that may help.... 1. Wheat bag - a wheat bag can be warmed up in the microwave and then placed on the side of your head with the headache or even on the back of your neck. This can help to relax your muscles and help ease the pain and discomfort. 2. Sometimes a cold pack can help by cooling your head and numbing the pain. A cold pack is not all that comfortable to have against your skin so you may want to wrap it in a tea towel. 3. Relaxation exercises - these are particularly good for tension headaches, especially if they are ongoing. By practising relaxation exercises on a regular basis you will help to reduce stress and reduce your headaches. 4. Meditation - as with relaxation exercises, meditation will help you to relax and alleviate stress to reduce your headaches. 5. Exercise - once again this is more beneficial for tension headaches. By exercising regularly you are reducing stress or helping your body to deal with stress more effectively which can drastically reduce the severity and how often you get tension headaches. Yoga is particularly good for relieving stress. 6. Vitamins - B complex vitamins in particular are good for preventing headaches and even lessen the severity of headaches. 7. Lecithin capsules taken daily can help to prevent migraine headaches - although you should talk with your GP before you start taking these daily. 8. Chamomile tea helps to calm and relax you, this can help to relieve tension headaches and will also help you to sleep well further reducing headaches. 9. Drink lots of water - you'd be surprised at the number of people who get headaches simply because they are dehydrated. 10. Make sure you are getting enough sleep - this is another big cause of headaches when your body isn't getting the required amount of sleep. Whatever type of headache you suffer from, I hope that some of these tips can help you to reduce the severity, reduce how often you get them, or even get rid of them all together.

There are a lot of ways we can have pain and a bad migraine is sure one of them. For a long time, I have been suffering from awful headaches, yet thus far could not find any kind of migraine relief. I know there exist some ways to provide kind of partial migraine headache relief. I can sit in a dark room, trying to lay absolutely still and silent, and the throbbing will lessen somewhat, but even...

Migraines are thought to be caused by the dilation and constriction of arteries in the head. These can be extremely painful headaches. The pain is often limited to one side of the head, and may be accompanied by nausea and vomiting. Most often, visual migraine, just like regular migraine headaches, can be brought about by stress, fatigue and changing estrogen levels. It occurs more...

A migraine is a throbbing, intense headache in one half of the head. It can affect people of all ages. The cause of migraine is not known. During an attack, the blood vessels in the brain dilate and then draw together with stimulation of nerve endings near the affected blood vessels. These changes to the blood vessels are probably what cause the pain, but migraine is still a condition...
